Selection

Frost & Sullivan India Healthcare Excellence Awards 2012 seek to recognize companies and individuals that have pushed the boundaries of excellence — rising above the competition and demonstrating outstanding performance across India in 2011-12.

Process

  • Frost & Sullivan’s analyst team shortlists companies for each award category on the basis of detailed research on pre-defi­ned parameters
  • Additionally, interviews are conducted with key personnel of shortlisted companies to substantiate, validate, and update information collected about each company
  • The information on each company is then consolidated, and a competitive matrix is prepared for the purpose of judgment on the pre-defi­ned parameters
  • An independent panel of judges deliberates the ­findings of the analyst team and decides on the most deserving award recipients
  • The fi­nal list of recipients is announced
  • Recipients are honored at the Awards Banquet

Criteria

Frost & Sullivan follows a rigorous methodology to select and shortlist the leading companies in India.

The following measurement parameters are used in conducting the detailed evaluation of each shortlisted company on the basis of actual market performance indicators. Some variations on speci­fic measurements may apply to certain categories. Base year for benchmark study is ­financial year 2011-2012.

  • Revenue and market share growth
  • Proof of success executing a restructuring strategy
  • Geographical and product/service line expansion
  • Marketing, promotion, and visibility of the company
  • Value-added services
  • Evidence of success through strategy innovation and acquisitions
  • Technological innovation and clinical excellence
  • Increased name recognition through awards and accreditation
